Workshop for operators (Greece)
The CVME of Ionnina, which operates in a region with a high risk of social marginalisation, hardship and exclusion, offers to share the community experience and the models suggested by the CDDCP and the TAMPEP International Foundation in order to establish relations with its own context of reference, taking its own area of intervention as the first context for strengthening local experiences in other areas.
To achieve this, the Centre will have the task of animating, promoting and creating a workshop in Greece, which will have the participation of local authorities, networks of local associations active in this area and entities directly involved in the project such as CDDCP, TAMPEP International Foundation, ASS n. 1 Triestina, Albanian Women's Forum and ARAS.
During the workshop (which will last two days) the two case studies will be presented, together with guests from the countries of origin of the immigrant women who practice prostitution in Europe, who will have the possibility of introducing the situation in their countries and responding to the needs indicated by the two case studies.
The CVME will also present the activities carried out in the Balkans in 2000 and the local situation in their operational area. Strategies for implementing intervention actions will also be drawn up during the round table which will include the participation of international experts, participants, operators and institutional authorities.
